TU810 In-line Turbidity Sensor

The SB&C Electronics TU810 in-line turbidity sensor It is a high-precision optical sensor designed for the continuous turbidity measurement in water and process liquids. Its nephelometric measurement technology complies with the standards ISO 7027 and EN 27027, It uses an 890 nm infrared LED to obtain stable measurements, minimizing the influence of sample color and ambient light.

This turbidity sensor It incorporates a built-in preamplifier and is designed to work in conjunction with the controllers. TU7685 and TU7685.010, allowing measurement from very low turbidity waters to processes with high concentrations, thanks to its different measurement scales up to 4000 NTU.

Its chemical-resistant PVC body, IP67 connector protection, and the ability to install cables up to 150 meters long allow its use in drinking water treatment plants, filtration systems, swimming pools, process water, mineral water, ultrafiltration, sedimentation, and water quality control in industrial applications.

To obtain maximum accuracy, especially on the scale of 0–4 NTU, The manufacturer recommends installing the sensor in the TU910 flow cell or in a PVC T that can be supplied. These accessories maintain a constant flow rate of the sample, reduce the appearance of air bubbles in the optical zone, and facilitate both cleaning and calibration using formazin standards.
