Portable electronic handwheel, without internal electronic counter, for connection to the CNC via a 3m coiled cable. It has switches to select the resolution and axis of the CNC and four pushbuttons to remotely control CNC functions.
The VP51 model features a fully metal, painted aluminum housing with good resistance to external agents. Its anodized aluminum control knob has 100 divisions, and the steps (100 PPR) are either locked at each division or, upon request, equipped with a clutch (option F). Two electronic switches select the resolution and the CNC axis, four pushbuttons on the front panel remotely control four CNC functions, and a mushroom-shaped pushbutton allows for immediate machine tool stop.
It is offered with NPN, PNP, push-pull electronic output stages and 26LS31 and 88C30 drivers, and with 5 V ±5 %, 8–24 V, 18–28 V, and 8–15 V power supplies. The 3 m coiled cable has a connector at the end (VD4, VM9, VM5, or VL). Optional features include: a magnetic coupler for secure attachment to the machine tool, one or two enable pushbuttons (options J and W), and a right- or left-hand handle (option D: right-hand handle).
