Electronic Steering Wheels

Electronic handwheels, also called manual pulse generators, allow you to manually move the axes of a CNC machine: each turn of the handle generates a fixed number of pulses (usually 100) that the control unit converts into movement. There are panel-mounted versions, for installation on the machine's console, and portable versions, connected to the CNC via coiled cable, with axis and resolution selectors and a stop button.
