KELLER LEO-Record Digital Pressure Gauge with Data Logging
The KELLER LEO-Record is a digital pressure gauge with data logging designed to autonomously measure, display and store pressure and temperature over extended periods. It combines the precision of an industrial digital pressure gauge with the functionality of a datalogger, allowing you to document hydraulic tests, control water networks, detect pressure losses and analyze the behavior of installations without needing to keep a computer permanently connected.
The equipment is available in ranges starting from -1…3 bar to 0…1000 bar, as well as capacitive versions for low pressures of 0…30, 0…100 and 0…300 mbar. In piezoresistive versions it offers an accuracy of up to ±0.05 % of the full scale and a total error band of up to ±0.1 % FS between 0 and 50 °C.
Its internal non-volatile memory can store up to 57,000 pressure and temperature measurements with date and time stamp. The logs are configured and downloaded using the RS485 interface and the free KELLER PressureSuite Desktop software.
Digital pressure and temperature recording manometer
The LEO-Record doesn't just display instantaneous pressure. Its recording function allows you to track how pressure evolves over minutes, hours, days, or weeks. This capability is especially useful when a single reading doesn't allow you to identify pressure drops, operating cycles, leaks, nighttime variations, or intermittent behavior of a system.
Once configured, the pressure gauge can operate autonomously thanks to its internal 3.6V lithium battery. The storage interval is configurable from 1 second to 99 days, Therefore, it can be adapted to both relatively quick tests and long-term monitoring.
The recording function can be started or stopped manually using the two front pushbuttons. It can also be programmed from PressureSuite to start immediately, on a specific date, or when a pressure-related condition is met.
High precision for industrial applications
The piezoresistive versions of the KELLER LEO-Record provide accuracy up to ±0.05 % FS at an ambient temperature of 20…25 °C. This specification includes nonlinearity, hysteresis, lack of repeatability, and deviations from the zero point and amplification.
The total error band is up to ±0.1 % of the full scale within the compensated range of 0…50 °C. This value represents the maximum error considering both pressure and temperature simultaneously, thus providing a more realistic reference for the instrument's behavior under working conditions.
Capacitive versions are available for low pressures. These versions cover ranges of 0…30, 0…100, and 0…300 mbar and offer an accuracy of up to ±0.1 % FS and a total error band of up to ±0.2 % FS between 0 and 50 °C.
Internal memory for up to 57,000 records
The pressure recorder has non-volatile memory, so the stored values are retained even if the equipment is switched off or the battery is replaced.

In linear mode, recording stops when the memory is full. In ring storage mode, older values can be overwritten with new measurements, ensuring that the most recent data is always available.
Interval and event-driven recording
PressureSuite Desktop allows you to adapt the datalogger's operation to each application. In addition to regular recording at constant intervals, LEO-Record can initiate recording when a specific event occurs.

Clear reading and operation via two pushbuttons
The LEO-Record features an LCD screen with two rows of five digits. The top row shows the current pressure value and the bottom row indicates the recorder status.

- PrEP: The team is waiting for the scheduled start condition.
- End: The recording has ended.
- BAT LOW: low battery warning.
- OFL / UFL: value higher or lower than the range that the screen can display.
The SELECT and ENTER buttons allow you to turn the instrument on, select units, start or stop recording, and adjust the zero point. It is also possible to restore the factory zero setting.
Pressure can be displayed in bar, mbar, hPa, kPa, MPa, psi, mH₂O, cmH₂O, inH₂O, ftH₂O, mmHg, inHg, and kp/cm². Additionally, up to five user-defined units of measurement can be configured via the software.
PressureSuite Desktop and RS485 communication
The digital pressure gauge incorporates an interface RS485 half-duplex. To connect it to a computer, an RS485-USB converter is used; the KELLER accessory is recommended. K-114A with the corresponding connector.
The free KELLER PressureSuite Desktop software for Windows allows you to:

To record extremely rapid transients or pressure spikes, the required acquisition frequency must be checked beforehand. The LEO-Record is specifically designed for long-term, periodic monitoring, with a minimum storage interval of one second.
Robust construction for industrial use
The equipment has protection IP65 and pressure connections made of stainless steel. In the piezoresistive versions, the sensor diaphragm is made of AISI 316L stainless steel. For ranges above 400 bar, AISI 318LN stainless steel, material 1.4462, is used in the pressure connection.
The standard connection is G 1/4 male and a connection is also available 1/4-18 NPT male. Other connections, special ranges, fluid contact materials, and specific configurations can be supplied upon request.
The screen can be rotated approximately 180° to the left or right relative to the sensor, making it easier to read once mounted. Rotation should be performed according to the manufacturer's instructions to avoid damaging the internal wiring.
Nutrition and autonomy
The LEO-Record is powered by a lithium battery of 3.6V type SL-760. The estimated battery life is approximately two years under continuous operation with a ten-second storage interval. Actual battery life depends on measurement frequency, interface usage, and operating conditions.
The standard version also supports an external power supply of 8…28 VCC. After replacing the battery, the device must be reconfigured using the software to properly update the internal clock and logging parameters.
ATEX and IECEx version
A specific model is available for installations in potentially explosive atmospheres. LEO-Record-Ei, with intrinsic safety and ATEX and IECEx certifications.
The LEO-Record-Ei version is certified Ex II 2G Ex ia IIC T4 Gb. In this implementation, only the authorized Tadiran SL-760 lithium battery may be used. External power is not permitted, and the RS485 interface must not be used within the explosion-risk area.
The standard LEO-Record version is not ATEX. For applications in classified areas, the LEO-Record-Ei must be expressly requested and the conditions of use indicated in its certificate and manual must be checked.

What is the difference between a digital pressure gauge and a digital pressure gauge with data logging?
A conventional digital pressure gauge displays the current pressure. The LEO-Record also stores pressure and temperature values with date and time, allowing for later analysis of how the system has changed.
How much data can it store?
It can store up to 57,000 timestamped values when the interval is equal to or less than 15 seconds. When the interval is greater than 15 seconds, the capacity is 28,000 values.
What is the minimum recording interval?
The minimum storage interval is one second. Using PressureSuite, an interval of up to 99 days can be configured.
How are the records downloaded?
Data is downloaded via the RS485 interface. To connect the pressure gauge to a USB port, it is recommended to use the KELLER K-114A converter and the PressureSuite Desktop software.
Is the USB converter included?
The K-114A converter is an accessory and must be expressly included in the offer when required. The LEO-Record does not have a direct USB connection.
Is there a version for ATEX zones?
Yes. The LEO-Record-Ei is the intrinsically safe version specifically designed for explosive atmospheres. It must be selected specifically; the standard LEO-Record is not ATEX certified.
