The ELCIS I/114 incremental encoder is a high-quality, reliable model certified for use in ATEX environments. Designed for extreme industrial applications such as rolling mills, cranes, or heavy machinery, this encoder offers stable and precise operation even under severe mechanical conditions.

Its 115 mm diameter metal housing, with a total length of 95 mm, is made entirely of anodized aluminum, guaranteeing excellent rigidity and protection against dust, moisture, and vibrations. It features a hollow shaft with a diameter of 12 to 20 mm, adaptable to different drive shaft diameters, with axial or radial connection via connector or cable.

The I/114 model offers configurable resolutions from 1 to 2,048 pulses per revolution (ppr) and reaches a maximum frequency of 300 kHz. It operates on 5 to 30 V DC power and is available with NPN, line driver, or push-pull electronics, ensuring compatibility with most industrial controllers.
