The ELCIS EF19I is a linear transducer using a 1.35 mm diameter wire cable, available in incremental or analog versions, for measuring linear displacements of up to 40, 50 and 60 meters.
Stainless steel cable of Ø 1.35 mm with pull-out and pull-out forces of 25 N and 12 N. It offers incremental electronics (NPN, PNP, push-pull, 26LS31 or 88C30 driver, TTL 7404, 1 Vpp sinusoidal) or analog electronics (1 kΩ potentiometer, 4÷20 mA, 0÷10 V), resolution of 0.1 mm or 1 mm, linearity of ±0.05 % fs, max. reading speed of 4 m/s and max. acceleration of 2.5 G.
The encoder is IP64 rated and mechanically rated, operates from 0 to 70 °C (storage from -30 to 85 °C), and weighs 18–24 kg depending on length. It is powered by 5 to 30 V depending on the code and connects via a 1 m cable, connectors, cable end connectors, or a Phoenix terminal box, with protection ranging from IP00 to IP67 depending on the connection.
