The ELCIS I/59A incremental encoder is a high-precision model with a 59 mm diameter metal housing, designed for industrial applications requiring high performance. Its servo-mount flange and solid 8 mm diameter stainless steel shaft ensure direct and stable mounting.

It offers adjustable resolutions from 1 to 20,000 pulses per revolution (ppr) and allows voltage configurations from 5 to 30 V DC, with outputs in advanced technologies (push-pull, line driver, NPN, PNP, open collector). Thanks to its optical system with long-life LEDs and precision bearings, it delivers clear signals up to 100 kHz (with an option up to 300 kHz), withstanding speeds up to 6,000 rpm continuous (9,000 rpm intermittent), vibrations of 10 G and shocks of 50 G.

Weighing ≈350 g, the I/59A is constructed from anodized aluminum and features a Valox 420 jacket, withstanding thermal ranges of 0°C to +70°C (–30°C to +85°C in storage). Its rugged design makes it an ideal solution for demanding industrial environments.
