The 765 Multiturn Absolute Encoder perfectly fulfills this function, featuring a standard mounting format with a locking flange and fully user-configurable electronics.
The integrated OptoASIC chip guarantees an absolute programmable resolution of up to 65,536 (16 bits) by 4,096 rotations (12 bits), communicated via a fast SSI bus (500 kHz). Additionally, it features incremental Sine/Cosine secondary channels at 1024 ppr or RS422 signals, making it an ideal dual-mode device for both standard PLCs and high-dynamic drives.
With a robust 10 mm h7 stainless steel shaft, it is designed to withstand up to 5 kg of continuous axial or radial force.
