What mechanical protection (IP) options are available?
The encoder comes standard with IP65 protection at the output. On the shaft side, the standard model offers IP64. However, it can be configured with the "Z" Option (sealed bearings) to achieve IP65 on the shaft, although this reduces the maximum recommended speed to 2000 RPM.
What electronic output configurations does it support?
The base model includes a standard Parallel output, but can be ordered with Serial SSI (Option S). Available output codes are Gray or Binary, with various output stage options such as Open Collector NPN 70mA (KK) or Open Emitter 70mA (KP).
Is it possible to extend the operating temperature range?
Yes. The standard operating range is 0 to +70 °C. If your application requires it, Option "A" for high temperatures and Option "L" for low temperatures are available as modifications upon request, adapting to extreme climates.
