A/990FC Absolute Fieldbus Encoder
- Manufacturer: ELCIS Encoder
- Category: Encoder, Absolute Encoder, Absolute Encoder Fieldbus, SENSORS
Absolute encoder of extremely robust construction, with hollow shaft and patented internal star coupling (like mod. 72), high axial compensation, with CANopen interface and high resolution.
The A/990FC is a single-turn or multi-turn absolute encoder with a CANopen/CAN (C2) or fiber optic CAN (CF) interface, a CAN transceiver (ISO 11898), and a transmission speed of up to 1 Mbaud. It allows selection of 4096, 8192, 16384, 32768, or 65536 steps per turn and 1, 4096, or 16384 turns, with a maximum of 30 bits in binary code, and two LEDs indicate the status.
Constructed with an aluminum housing and a hollow stainless steel shaft of Ø10 H7 (optional Ø9.52, Ø8, Ø6 or others upon request), it supports radial and axial loads of 70 and 110 N. It features IP65 protection on the shaft side (IP66 in the sealed version), withstands impacts of 30 G and vibrations of 10 G, and operates from -40 to +85 °C. Available in guemisa.es.
- Hollow shaft with internal star coupling and max. compensation of ±3 mm axial, ±0.05 mm radial and ±2° angular.
- Interface CANopen / CAN either CAN fiber optic, with CAN transceiver (ISO 11898) up to 1 Mbaud.
- Resolution of up to 16 bit per turn and 30 bit in 16384 turns.
- Programmable parameters: cams, 2 limit switches, speed, baud rate and CAN identifier.
Technical Frequently Asked Questions
What compensation does the star coupling of the A/990FC allow?
According to the manufacturer, the maximum compensation of the coupling is ±3 mm axial, ±0.05 mm radial and ±2° angular.
What resolutions and laps can the A/990FC be configured for?
It allows you to choose 4096, 8192, 16384, 32768 or 65536 steps per revolution and 1, 4096 or 16384 revolutions, with a maximum resolution of 30 bits at 16384 revolutions.
What parameters are programmable in the CANopen interface and what connections are available?
Direction of rotation (complement), resolution per revolution, total resolution, preset value, cams, 2 limit switches, speed, baud rate, and CAN identifier, and transmission mode: polled mode, cyclic mode, sync mode, or cos mode. The CAN fiber optic (CF) version is like the (C2) version, but with a fiber optic connection. Connections: connection cover (3PG), connection cover + LED (3PG-D), connection cover with 2 wires (2M20), 5-pin round connector (1BW), and two 5-pin round connectors (2BW), all IP65 rated, and fiber optic connector (1HW).
