A/959CD Absolute Fieldbus Encoder
- Manufacturer: ELCIS Encoder
- Category: Encoder, Absolute Encoder, Absolute Encoder Fieldbus, SENSORS
The A/959CD is a robust and compact absolute encoder with a hollow shaft and built-in elastic coupling, featuring a DeviceNet interface. It offers high resolution at a very good price/performance ratio.
The A/959CD is a single-turn or multi-turn absolute encoder with a DeviceNet (D2) interface and an ISO 11898 CAN transceiver, featuring programmable baud rates. It allows selection of 4096, 8192, 16384, 32768, or 65536 steps per revolution and 1, 4096, or 16384 revolutions, with a maximum of 30 bits in binary code. Programmable parameters include direction of rotation, total resolution, resolution per revolution, preset value, and baud mode. Two LEDs indicate the status.
Constructed with a Ø59 mm aluminum housing and a hollow F7 stainless steel shaft (standard Ø15 mm; Ø8, Ø10, Ø12, or others available upon request), its integrated elastic coupling allows for a maximum compensation of ±0.1 mm axially, ±0.2 mm radially, and ±1° angularly, and supports axial and radial loads of 40 and 110 N. It features IP64 protection on the shaft side (IP66 in the sealed version), withstands 30 G shocks and 10 G vibrations, and operates from -40 to +85 °C. Available in guemisa.es.
- Interface DeviceNet (D2) with CAN transceiver ISO 11898 and programmable transmission speed.
- Hollow shaft with built-in elastic coupling: compensates ±0.1 mm axial, ±0.2 mm radial and ±1° angular.
- Resolution of up to 16 bit per turn and 30 bit in 16384 turns.
- Nutrition 10–30 V DC with maximum consumption of 2.5 W and 2 LED of state.
