El ELCIS 790A (A/790A) es un encoder absoluto monovuelta programable de hasta 65536 pasos (16 bit), con interfaz SSI y salidas incrementales Sin/Cos a 1024 ppr o RS422 hasta 16384 pulsos por vuelta.
Con sensor óptico OptoAsic, el A/790A entrega la posición por la interfaz serie SSI con Preset en código Gray o Binario. Con la opción PR (máx. 8192 div/vuelta) se programan código, resolución, preset y dirección por software vía USB o por la interfaz RS422; software y cable se suministran bajo pedido.
Base y tapa de aluminio anodizado (inoxidable bajo pedido) y eje de acero inoxidable Ø12 h7, con hasta 15 kg de carga radial/axial. Resiste impactos de 40 G y vibraciones de 12 G, y trabaja entre -20 y +85 °C con protección IP66 en el lado del eje (IP67 en versión sellada).

What interface does the A/790A use to transmit position?
A synchronous serial SSI interface with clock, address (DIR) and preset inputs, with RS422 output electronics. The value is transmitted starting from the most significant bit (MSB).
Can the encoder resolution be programmed?
Yes, with the Programmable (PR) option (max. 8192 div/revolution), the output code (Gray or Binary), resolution (up to the encoder's maximum physical resolution), preset value, and counting direction can be set using PC software connected via USB, or via an RS422 interface in ASCII code. The software and cable are available upon request.
What additional outputs does it support besides the SSI interface?
The A/790A supports Sin/Cos output of 1024 ppr (option S) or incremental RS422 output of up to 16384 pulses per revolution (options I1 to I5: 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192 or 16384).
