The ELCIS 990FS (A/990FS) is a single-turn SSI absolute encoder with a hollow shaft and patented internal star coupling (like mod. 72), with axial compensation.
The A/990FS supports coupling compensation of ±3 mm axial, ±0.05 mm radial, and ±2° angular. It encodes position in Gray or Binary, with a resolution of up to 16 bits per revolution, and transmits data via SSI serial interface (RS422), with an external clock from 100 kHz to 1 MHz and a preset function option (S1).
