PL200 Hellmann Manual Rain Gauge
- Manufacturer: Nesa
- Category: Rain, Meteorology - Climatology, SENSORS
The NESA PL200 is a high-precision Hellman manual rain gauge designed for collecting and measuring atmospheric precipitation. Its structure consists of a cylindrical anodized aluminum body with a 200 cm² collection surface. The precipitated water is channeled through a high-efficiency collection funnel into an internal container with a capacity of up to 3 liters, equivalent to 150 mm of precipitation.
For direct measurement, it incorporates a Class A (0.05 mm resolution) or Class A+ (0.04 mm) precision graduated cylinder with a 250 ml capacity, allowing accurate readings up to 12.5 mm. The funnel design ensures loss-free collection, maximizing measurement reliability.
Ideal for manual meteorological observations, climate research and agricultural applications.
