I/90A Robust Incremental Encoder
- Manufacturer: ELCIS -SICOD
- Category: Encoder, Robust Incremental, SENSORS
The ELCIS I/90A incremental encoder is a robust and reliable industrial model designed for position and speed control applications in demanding machinery. Manufactured with a fully machined Ø 90 mm anodized aluminum housing, it offers a solid, precise, and vibration- and impact-resistant structure.
It features a solid 12 mm diameter shaft and weighs approximately 800 g, ensuring excellent mechanical stability under continuous operating conditions. It offers configurable resolutions from 1 to 25,000 pulses per revolution (ppr), with a standard output frequency of 100 kHz and an option of up to 300 kHz for special versions.
The I/90A encoder operates on a 5 to 30 V DC power supply and is available with different types of electronic signal (line driver, push-pull or open collector), easily adapting to most industrial control systems.
With a continuous speed exceeding 6,000 rpm, shock resistance of 50 G × 11 ms, and vibration resistance of 12 G (10–2,000 Hz), this encoder ensures stable and long-lasting operation. Its IP54 protection rating (IP65 optional) and operating temperature range of 0 °C to +70 °C make it an ideal choice for heavy machinery, test benches, servomotors, and industrial automation.
