The ELCIS I/102 incremental encoder is a large, robust model designed for industrial applications requiring high precision and mechanical durability. Its 102 mm diameter anodized aluminum housing offers excellent structural stability against vibrations and impacts, making it ideal for heavy machinery and demanding motion control systems.

It features a solid 12 mm diameter shaft and weighs approximately 1,000 g, providing high rigidity and reliability in continuous operation. It offers configurable resolutions from 1 to 25,000 pulses per revolution (ppr), with a standard output frequency of 100 kHz and an option up to 300 kHz.

It operates on a 5 to 30 V DC power supply and allows different electronic output configurations (line driver, push-pull or open collector), ensuring compatibility with the main industrial controllers and PLCs.

The ELCIS I/102 encoder supports speeds up to 6,000 rpm, shocks of 50 G × 11 ms, and vibrations of 12 G (10–2,000 Hz). Its IP54 protection rating (IP65 optional) and thermal range of 0 °C to +70 °C ensure reliable operation even in harsh environments.
