ANESB Ultrasonic Anemometer
- Manufacturer: Nesa
- Category: Anemometers and Wind Vanes, SENSORS, Weather sensors
He ANESB ultrasonic anemometer It is a professional weather sensor designed to measure with high precision the wind speed and direction using ultrasonic technology without moving parts.
The sensor uses four ultrasonic transducers arranged on two orthogonal axes (XY) that allow the calculation of the wind speed vector in the horizontal plane by measuring the transit time of acoustic pulses between the sensors. This operating principle eliminates the wear and maintenance problems typical of mechanical anemometers.
Thanks to its robust design in technical resin and anodized aluminum alloy, The ANESB offers high reliability even under demanding environmental conditions such as wind farms, weather stations, precision agriculture, dams, solar installations or offshore applications.
The instrument provides simultaneous measurement of wind speed and direction with High dynamic response, great long-term stability, and excellent immunity to dust, salinity, or wind-borne sand.
The sensor can be easily integrated into environmental monitoring systems, PLC or SCADA via analog outputs 4–20 mA or digital communication RS485 Modbus RTU.
Its operation without moving parts significantly reduces maintenance needs compared to traditional cup anemometers, making it an ideal solution for professional meteorological applications and renewable energy.
