Schreiber Messtechnik SM22

LVDT Measuring ranges 4, 5, 8, 10, 15, 20 mm, Body diameter 8mm

The Schreiber Messtechnik SM22 Series LVDT linear displacement sensor is a high-precision device designed for linear displacement measurement in industrial and scientific applications. With configurable accuracy and infinite resolution, the SM22 ensures accurate, consistent and reliable readings. In addition, its stability against temperature variations is guaranteed thanks to minimal thermal drift.

Properties

  1. Precision: Accuracy options of ±0.5% or ±0.25%, offering accurate and reliable readings in industrial and scientific applications.
  2. Standard Tours: Models with standard travels of 4, 5, 8, 10, 15, 20 mm, adapted to different measurement configurations
  3. Sensitivity: Sensitivity of 440 mV/mm with a variation of ±10%, ideal for systems that require high resolution in displacement measurements.
  4. Thermal Drift: Less than 0.005% per °C, ensuring excellent stability over a wide temperature range, without losing precision due to thermal changes.
  5. Operating Temperature Range: Operates in a temperature range of -40°C to +120°C, allowing use in extreme industrial environments.
  6. Resistance to Adverse Conditions:
  • Crashes: Shock resistant up to 250g SRS in a range of 20-2000 Hz.
  • Vibrations: Withstands up to 20 g RMS and 50 g peak, ensuring reliability under intense vibration conditions.

7.- Degree of Protection: IP68 (with compatible electronic modules), providing complete protection against dust and water, ideal for harsh environments.

       8.- Materials:

  • Body and Core: Stainless Ni-Fe alloy, ensuring durability and wear resistance.
  • Stem: Made of brass, corrosion resistant material.
  • Palpator: Stainless steel, ensuring strength and long life.
  • Dock: Stainless steel, designed to withstand repeated compression cycles without loss of performance.
  • Dock Plate: Black anodized aluminum, providing additional protection and a durable finish.

9.- Dimensions and Weight:

  • Sensor Mass: Approximately 10 g.
  • Mass with Probe: Approximately 20 g.
