He amplified LVDT sensor The Schreiber SM27 Series miniature is a milestone in metrological integration density. Belonging to the family of LVDTs with integrated electronics, This transducer manages to encapsulate a powerful ASIC oscillator/demodulator microchip within a cylindrical stainless steel chassis of just 10 mm in diameter. Its live electronics are powered by a standard 5V DC voltage, delivering a continuous analog output of 0 to 4V proportional to the mechanical displacement of its NiFe alloy core, without the need for external conditioners in the user's electrical panel.

At the level of physical coupling in CNC machinery or restricted test benches, the SM27 uses the same flanges as its passive counterpart (SM21), guaranteeing a regulated mounting with a pattern PCD of 20.0 mm. This structural feature makes it the linear position sensor definitive for drop-in replacements When it is desired to eliminate analog conditioning cabling from the installation, by injecting the 0-4V signal directly into the data acquisition (DAQ) cards or perimeter PLCs.
