He inductive LVDT sensor The Schreiber SM25 series breaks with conventional architecture by introducing a measuring system based on an aluminum target ring that moves axially on a steel shaft. It belongs to the group of passive LVDT technology, This miniature transducer achieves a useful stroke of 25 mm in a structural length of only 40 mm, critically optimizing installation space on test benches. At the pneumatic or hydraulic coupling level, the device features a unique 13 mm through-diameter bore, allowing customer rods or shafts to slide through its center. To translate its inductance variation into the language of the PLC, this linear position sensor It connects to cabinet-mounted signal conditioners (SM10, SM12, or multi-channel SM14 series), which deliver the 4-20mA loop or voltage to the PLC.
