I/90 Robust Incremental Encoder
- Manufacturer: ELCIS -SICOD
- Category: Encoder, Robust Incremental, SENSORS
The ELCIS I/90 incremental encoder is designed for industrial applications requiring maximum robustness and reliability. Its 90 mm diameter metal housing, fully machined from anodized aluminum, ensures excellent resistance to impacts, vibrations, and external agents. This model is supplied with a solid shaft of either 10 mm or 12 mm diameter and offers multiple mounting configurations using feet, a front flange, or a side bracket.
It offers configurable resolutions from 1 to 25,000 pulses per revolution (ppr), with a standard output frequency of 100 kHz and option of up to 300 kHz. The electronics are adaptable to modern control systems, with versions of 5 to 30 V DC and exits line driver, push-pull or open collector, ensuring direct integration with PLCs, drives and automation equipment.
The I/90 encoder stands out for its high mechanical resistance (50 G × 11 ms to impacts and 12 G in vibration), its thermal range of 0 °C to +70 °C and their protection IP-54 (optional IP-65), making it an ideal solution for heavy machinery, servomotors, test benches, and high-demand production lines
