The ELCIS 758S (A/758S) is a programmable single-turn absolute encoder of up to 65536 steps (16 bit), in a 58 mm housing with servo-type flange, with SSI interface and incremental Sin/Cos outputs at 1024 ppr or RS422 up to 16384.
As a programmable single-turn absolute encoder in a 58 mm servo-flange housing, the A/758S offers up to 65,536 (16-bit) resolution per revolution, with SSI serial output (S1 interface with preset) in Gray or Binary code. It also supports an additional Sine/Cos output at 1024 ppr or incremental RS422 output of up to 16,384 pulses per revolution, and, with the PR option (max. 8,192 div/revolution), allows programming of code, resolution, preset, and address via software through USB or the RS422 interface itself.
With an anodized aluminum base, VALOX 420 cover and Ø6 h7 stainless steel shaft (up to 2 kg radial/axial load), it withstands 50 G impacts and 12 G vibrations, and works between -20 and +85 °C with IP64 protection on the shaft side (IP66 in sealed version).

Up to 65536 (16 bit) resolution per revolution, selectable between 1024, 4096, 8192, 16384, 32768 or 65536 divisions per revolution.
How do you program the encoder?
With the PR option (max. 8192 div/revolution), programming is possible via PC software connected by cable to a USB port that powers the encoder, or through the RS422 interface, which allows programming and data exchange in ASCII code. The software and cable are supplied upon request.
What additional outputs does it support besides the SSI?
