Schreiber Messtechnik SM60 and SM61

Angular LVDT Measuring ranges: 30º – 60º – 90º, Housing Ø 36.5 mm
The Schreiber Messtechnik SM60 and SM61 inductive angle sensors are designed for industrial applications requiring precise measurements in confined spaces. Both models have a diameter of 36.5 mm, making them easy to integrate into compact systems. The SM60 incorporates external electronics and is equipped with synchronous coupling, allowing easy connection and adaptation to various control systems. The SM61 integrates the electronics internally, offering a more compact and simplified solution for applications where space is limited. Both models are designed to measure angles up to 90° providing a wide measurement range for various industrial applications. The operating principle of these sensors is based on differential induction. An iron-nickel alloy rotor rotates through two halves of a differential coil. The position of the rotor generates an inductance distribution proportional to the angle of rotation, allowing precise, contactless measurement. This technology guarantees high reliability and durability in demanding industrial environments.
