The Schreiber Messtechnik SM40 Series LVDT linear displacement sensor is a high-precision element designed for linear displacement measurement in industrial and scientific applications. With configurable accuracy and infinite resolution, the SM40 ensures accurate, consistent and reliable readings. In addition, its stability against temperature variations is guaranteed thanks to minimal thermal drift. The sensor has 0/4…20mA, 0/10VDC p ±10VDC outputs available. It can be manufactured with customized linearities and ranges.

Applications:

  • In civil engineering, as a fissurometer, to measure microdisplacements, cracks or fissures in dams, bridges, aqueducts.
  • In industry, to measure movements in moving parts, such as presses.
  • On test benches, for precise measurement of part tests and material tests.
