The NCTE 5000 Series transducer is positioned as the robust solution for measuring extremely high torque in heavy-duty industrial drive systems. With a nominal capacity of 10,000 Nm (maximum measurable 15,000 Nm) and controlled speeds of 2,500 RPM, it provides certified accuracy (0.5%) in applications where mechanical reliability is critical.

Its contactless magnetostrictive architecture minimizes maintenance while ensuring complete signal integrity even under severe vibrations and electromagnetic interference. Digital inductive transmission allows for real-time data storage via integrated CAN-Bus and export to NCTE software via USB, facilitating detailed post-test analysis.

Applicable in heavy-duty commercial vehicle transmissions, main drive systems, industrial turbines, positive displacement compressors, energy validation laboratories, and medium-to-high power research facilities. Available with an integrated magnetic speed sensor (60 CPR) for simultaneous RPM measurement.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between nominal torque and maximum capacity?

Nominal (10,000 Nm) is the recommended operating range. Maximum capacity (15,000 Nm) is the physical limit before damage, but exceeding the nominal value in continuous cycles is not recommended.

Does it include a speed sensor?

Not included, but available as an option. The 60 CPR magnetic sensor allows simultaneous RPM and torque measurement.
