Vibration monitoring in small rotating machinery, such as fans or light pumps, is often complicated when standard sensors are too heavy or bulky, altering the equipment's dynamics or making it difficult to install in confined spaces.

This IEPE accelerometer solves this problem with a compact and exceptionally lightweight design of only 52 grams and a 19 mm hexagonal base. Equipped with a coaxial connector TNC with a top input, it provides standard sensitivity of 100 mV/g with a linear frequency response from 2 Hz to 13 kHz.

At a mechanical level, it is manufactured entirely from stainless steel to guarantee its mechanical resistance in general industry and has a degree of protection IP65. It is specifically designed for general purpose applications where ambient electrical noise is controlled.

This device features a non-galvanically isolated base and uses coaxial cable transmission (instead of the dual-core shielded cable of higher-end models). It should be installed in environments free from severe ground loops and high electromagnetic interference (EMI).

The sensor incorporates a ¼"-28 UNF female thread, but is fully compatible with M6 and M8 male metric adapter bolts. Additionally, there is a specific Q (Quick Fit) variant designed for quick-release adapters.

Is it suitable for areas with continuous fluid spray?
Its IP65 rating provides complete protection against dust and low-pressure water jets. It is not suitable for high-pressure washing, immersion, or constant exposure to aggressive coolants, where an IP67 rating or higher with an integral cable would be required.
