I-38Q Miniature Incremental Encoder

I/38Q Miniature Incremental Encoder

The incremental encoder I‑38Q of the brand ELCIS It is a highly robust miniature version of the I‑38 model, with a square flange, ideal for position and speed control in compact spaces. The combination of an anodized aluminum housing and a solid 6.35 mm diameter stainless steel shaft provides wear resistance and mechanical rigidity, suitable for demanding industrial use.

With a configurable resolution of 1 to 2,540 ppr, feeding of 5 to 28 V DC and push-pull or line-driver signal, it can work with frequencies up to 60 kHz (and 100 kHz option). It features long-life LED lighting (>100,000 h), precision bearings with a lifespan of 1.5 × 10⁹ revolutions, and high vibration and shock tolerance (50 g / 12 g), operating from 0 °C to +70 °C

This compact and reliable encoder, only ≈ 115 g, is ideal for industrial automation, compact servo motors, packaging machinery and OEM systems that require performance and durability in a small form factor.
