Schreiber Messtechnik SM26 SM28

LVDT Measuring ranges: 24, 40, 60, 100, 170, 200, 240, 360 mm, diameter 10, M12 connector option

The Schreiber Messtechnik SM26 Series LVDT linear displacement sensor is a high-precision element designed for linear displacement measurement in industrial and scientific applications. With configurable accuracy and infinite resolution, the SM26 ensures accurate, consistent and reliable readings. In addition, its stability against temperature variations is guaranteed thanks to minimal thermal drift.

Properties

1.- Precision: Accuracy options of ±0.5% or ±0.25%, ensuring accurate and consistent readings for a variety of industrial applications.

2.- Measuring Range: Models available with measuring ranges 24, 40, 60, 100, 170, 200, 240 and 360 mm, providing flexibility to measure displacements in a wide variety of applications.

3.- Sensitivity: Sensitivity of 440 mV/mm with a variation of ±10%, ideal for systems that require high resolution in displacement measurement.

4.- Thermal Drift: Less than 0.005% per °C, which ensures remarkable stability against temperature changes, improving precision under different thermal conditions.

5.- Operating Temperature Range: The sensor operates between -40°C and +120°C, making it suitable for applications in industrial environments with extreme temperatures.

6.- Resistance to Adverse Conditions:

  • Crashes: Shock resistant up to 250g SRS in a range of 20-2000 Hz.
  • Vibrations: Withstands up to 20g RMS and 50g peak, allowing it to operate reliably even in high vibration environments.

7.- Degree of Protection: IP65, ensuring protection against dust and water penetration, allowing its use in harsh industrial environments.

8.- Materials:

  • Body and Core: Manufactured from stainless Ni-Fe alloy, offering high resistance to wear and corrosion.
  • Stem: Made of brass, which ensures durability under demanding working conditions.
  • Palpator: Stainless steel, wear and corrosion resistant for long time use.
  • Dock: Stainless steel, designed to withstand repeated cycles without affecting performance.

9.- Dimensions and Weight:

  • Sensor Mass: Approximately 10 g.
  • Mass with Probe: Approximately 20 g.
  • Plunger Mass: Approximately 4 g.
