The protective housing for the D-Series laser sensors helps prevent the sensor lens from being attacked by inclement weather. There is also the protective housing for the D-Series dimetx laser sensor, with air injection to prevent dust ingress in dirty environments and to cool the sensor in case of temperatures above 70ºC.
