He NESA VV1 cup anemometer It is a wind speed sensor designed for meteorological, environmental, and industrial applications where accurate and reliable wind measurement is required.

This cup anemometer It uses a rotor with three aerodynamic cups that rotate proportionally to the wind speed. The rotational speed is converted into an electrical signal that can be transmitted through various industrial outputs such as 4-20 mA, frequency, 0-2V or RS485 Modbus communication.

The sensor complies with regulations IEC 61400-12-1 for wind measurements in professional applications such as wind farms, weather stations and environmental monitoring systems.

Operating principle of the cup anemometer

The cup anemometer works by means of a rotor made up of three cups that capture wind energy. When the wind hits the cups, the rotor begins to spin at a speed proportional to the wind speed.

An internal electronic system converts this rotation speed into a proportional electrical signal that can be transmitted to data acquisition systems, PLCs, or weather stations.
